Thank You..

This Thank You box set is for my Son's Fiance.
I used the "So Swirly" wheel and Real Red Ink for the cards and the lid of the box and the stamp set "Baroque Motifs" for the box itself.

I have been busy making cards. I have absolutely LOVED the Parisian Breeze Designer Series paper which was released in the Spring Mini catalogue, due to end 30th November, 2009. I will be very sad to see it go, but am excited to see what the next Mini catalogue has in store for us!
Please remember, if you want to order from the Spring Mini catalogue, do so BEFORE the end of next month. My final order from the mini will be on the 29th November, so please, if there is any last minute products you need to purchase, let me know. :-)

.. and back to Christmas cards! This one was just a very quick and easy card, using the Winter Posts stamp set, Certainly Celery and close to cocoa cardstock. Don't you just love those jumbo brads!

How are your Christmas preparations coming along? I hope you have yourselves a bit better organised than I seem to be. :-) I do have most of my cards ready, it's the gifts I seem to have left a little late preparing, but I AM working on them. I won't be able to share them here till after Christmas, as they are for gifts for family (who sometimes check out my blog) but I will certainly share them with you after.

Ellersmere A & P show.. 17th October, 2009

Last weekend, Lisa Bullock ( http://daffyscrapper.wordpress.com/2009/10/09/more-christmas-inspiration-from-stamp-a-stack/) and myself attended the local A & P show. We had a Stampin' Up! display and stall on the day. I have to say it was a very enjoyable day! We got to meet some lovely people, talk about what we both love (our crafts) and best of all, we were able to make one lucky ladies day!

We had a lucky door prize basket, which I am very happy to say was won by a lady from Banks Peninsula, Gill Wilson. When I rang to tell her that she had won, she was thrilled!! Congratulations Gill. We both hope you get loads of enjoyment from your basket of goodies!!

The day itself was very overcast. Grey heavy clouds hanging around, but luckily for us, the rain did hold off all day! Thanks to Lisa being so well prepared, we had everything well and truly under control. We had a cozy tent to retreat to if things took a turn for the worst, and even better, a wonderful stall which was totally undercover for our products, so nothing was going to be spoilt if it did rain. Thanks Lisa, it was a pleasure to work with you for the day.

I am currently signed up with  UStamp With Dawn for this month. I would recommend you go along to the website and sign up yourself to create some amazing projects! I am working my way through them, and all I can say is WOW!!! Don't miss out, these are all Christmas projects!!

World Card Making Day..

To celebrate World Card Making Day, Lisa ( http://daffyscrapper.wordpress.com/ ) had a Christmas Stamp A Stack occasion in her home. I was lucky enough to be asked to attend also, and got to see all these gorgeous creations being put together. The ladies who attended had a great time, and I must admit, so did I. Thanks Lisa for a great day!!

Can you tell everyone was having a good time? ;-)

I myself have just moved my craft room out to the Granny Flat, so I now have a wonderful new crafting space. I am loving it! I haven't really done much as it has taken the best part of a week to re-organise, but I am all set up now.
Here are a couple of projects I have done:
