Last night we were very lucky to have Deb Speijers showing us this amazing flower on Crafters Anonymous! I think everyone was impressed with how their flowers turned out. I know I was!
The tutorial for this amazing flower is available on our Crafters Anonymous Ning site, to all members.

May 5th is National Scrapbooking day!
I cannot let this day go past without doing a scrapbook page, so please keep an eye out. Hmmm I wonder what my subject would be about? ;-)
Here are a few of the projects I have been creating the past couple of weeks. Most of them are with Mother's Day in mind.
Hope you all have a lovely Mother's Day this month, and please remember International Scrapbooking day on the 5th May! If you do a layout, I would love you to leave a link to it here so I can check it out. Until next time,

Some Scrapbooking ...
My friend Tia and I often have a challenge between us, and this week we decided it was way past time we did some more scrapbooking, so this is the end result of our challenge.
We decided to go with a "sketch" and as usual I went to Pinterest to find one that I really liked. This was a double page layout, and the thing we both wanted was a layout which used up a few photos. Quite like this layout, I will be using it again.

Today's craft Class and Online Class...
Today I hosted a craft class, we created a lovely card and a little bag. I think the ladies were happy with what we created. I forgot to take photos so am waiting for them to send me theirs later on. In the mean time here are the items I created today for the class.
This is the card we did, each lady chose her own colours to recreate the rose and the background page of their card. We used the re-inker method for these roses and I think they are lovely!! Fifth Avenue continues to be one of my favourite Stampin' Up! stamp sets.
This bag is from one sheet of 12" x 12" paper, the paper we used was flocked, and very pretty! It is big enough to hold quite a few Easter Eggs I imagine!!
Then, over on Crafters Anonymous we had an online class hosted by a guest artist, Tania Cordie. It was to create this gorgeous tea cup! As I am a tea-a-holic, this was the perfect project for me!
All in all, a very nice day of crafting for me! Looking forward now to next week's crafting day!!

Scraplift Challenge on My Memories
I decided today as it was very wet, miserable weather, to spend a bit of time playing around with "My Memories" digital scrapbook software. Over on their blog, they are running a challenge called "The Scraplist" challenge. The goal is to pick one of three layouts, and use it to create your own. Here is MY version. Hope you like it.
Of course, the model in my layout is my darling wee Granddaughter Grace.

Two challenges down.... two to go!!
On Facebook, I am part of a group called Scrap it with Attitude and this month they are hosting their first challenge. It has a recipe of items you need to include in your page. These were: circles, twine and buttons. Here is what I came up with.
The second challenge was to create a birthday card. Very simple! I have been looking on pinterest (well ok, I admit.... obsessing!!!) and came across a beautiful card using the Fifth Avenue stamp set. I adore that set and haven't had it out for quite some time, so that was all I needed for the inspiration for my next project.
I still need to attach the sentiment but I just didn't have one I was happy with!
I will post again when I have finished the next two challenges.

Picture Cube
Tonight over on Crafters Anonymous, it was our first class after the Christmas and New Year break. I decided to start off 2012 with this cute project. I have so many photos I need to scrap this year, I thought what better way to begin than by creating some photo cubes!! Hope you like them.
