A bit of this and a bit of that...

These cards above are from my win on the Corrosive Challenge blog a while back. I won 10 card kits, and above are just a few I put together from those packs.

Some cards I made yesterday. The first one is my first attempt at a recessed card.. something I really liked putting together, so it won't be my last!

I covered a Journal today to keep my ATC's (Artist Trading Cards) in. I am on a website (Crafty Fingers) where we do ATC's between us. So far, we have done: Cats, Winter and Spring. Our next will be Christmas, then Summer and then Autumn. I am having fun with these.

Colour Challenge on Crafty Fingers...

I am on a lovely website called "Crafty Fingers" (http://craftyfingers.socialgo.com/home.html) , and every so often we have a challenge. This challenge was a colour challenge. My first ever!

For two days, I wondered just what I could do! Thankfully, today I got an idea, and it worked. So, here is my entry for the Crafty Fingers Challenge.

Colours used: Pink Piroutte, Riding Hood Red, Kiwi Kiss and Very Vanilla

The stamp is "Stipple Rose" a stamp that sadly retired last year. I really love it though.

Nothing says SPRING like Daffodils...

I just love Daffodils! You certainly know that Spring has arrived when they are blooming.

Last year when my daffodils were in bloom, we had a hailstorm which ruined them, so I never got a chance to take photos.

Happy Fathers Day!

To all the Dads today, I wish you a Very Happy Fathers Day. Sadly I lost my Father 31 years ago, but today I like to remember him and tell my Son's a little bit about him. I have added an image of my Dad as a baby.. I love this photo and have it in my folder awaiting turning into a scrapbook page for my "Heritage" album.

AND....for those who wanted to know, it's on 16 weeks till CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!

A Merry 3-D Christmas!

I have been having a play with some 3-D Christmas decoration ideas. I am thinking these might be good for the Christmas Table, you could even write the names in Santas beard. The 5 pointed stars are very easy to create, and I think they will look good displayed on a Christmas table too. 

The paper used is Stampin' Up!s Designer Series Paper, Ski Slopes. It's only available for a limited time, so I am planning on stocking up big! I love it!

What I have been doing today...

This card I made today. This is NOT a stampin' Up! stamp, but the papers I used are all Stampin' Up!

The Oval is an Oval Punch from SU, and the stamp used in it, is from the SU set "Oval All".

I am not a frog lover, but even I have to say this little guy is kinda cute!! The inspiration behind this card is my Sister, as she LOVES frogs!!
